Q: What is the earliest I can get there?
A: Gates open at 0800 hrs on Friday and people must not arrive before this time. Please do not come early to get in the queue as it causes us issues with the police and the estate.
line break
Q: What is the latest I can get there?
A: Booking in closes on Friday when the queue dies down, usually about 2200 hrs. If you miss booking in it will open again Saturday morning, so you can arrive any time after the event opens.
line break
Q: Are you checking my COVID-19 vaccination status?
A: No, we are not asking for anyone's vaccination status. This is not required.
line break
Q: Do I need to take a COVID-19 test before arrival?
A: No, we do not require you to take a test before attending. It would however be sensible, good practice to do so. We do not require the result; but request that for obvious reasons, you do not attend if it is positive, or if you think there may be a chance that you have coronavirus.
line break
Q: Are the 40 Mike grenades by Airsoft Innovations allowed on your site?
A: I am afraid not, we operate an overkill rule and these things do not conform to our health and safety policy!
line break
Q: Is there clean drinking water on site?
A: Yes, there is a mains water supply and several taps around the site and camping area.
line break
Q: What are your FPS limits?
A: FPS Limits (always measured with a 0.20g BB)

  • 350fps with an AEG
    (must not exceed 1.14 joules)

  • 425fps semi-automatic or gas rifle (with a 4 second pause between shots to simulate cocking)
    (1.68 joules )

  • 500fps with a bolt action rifle
    (maximum 2.32 joules)

Minimum engagement range for any gun firing over 350fps is 30 meters.
To be classed as semi auto at 425fps, the gun must have no full auto capability at all.
line break
Q: What is the minimum age for the weekender?
A: The minimum age to play is 14.
Children and family members are welcome to join you camping whatever the age.
line break
Q: Can I come for just 1 of the days?
A: There are no day passes to this event.
line break
Q: Can I come on my own or do I have to be part of a team?
A: You can do either, as you choose. Being part of a team is not a requirement - go freelance or join up with others.
line break
Q: Can I bring a generator?
A: Yes, but please choose wisely when positioning yourself in the camping area! While we are aware that people have come to GZ to enjoy themselves, we ask that everyone is aware that some people will be going to bed at a reasonable hour. All music, films and generators must be switched off, or down to an acceptable level as it gets late.

Marshals will be patrolling the camping area and if you are asked to reduce your volume, please do so without argument.

They will decide if the hour is too late or the volume is too loud. Not complying with their request will result in you being asked to turn it off completely, or leave the site

Q: Can I use pyros on site?
A: Hot burning pyros, like Enola Gay, TLSFx or Danger Zone are not allowed, not even the ring pull versions.

If you want to use grenades then purchase either a blank firing grenade (9mm or below) or something that uses gas or compressed air to fire. Please not that due to some BFGs not being "proof" marked we are only able to allow Dynatex to use 9mm blanks, and all other makes can use .209 primer shells.

Q: How far away is the camping site from the parking and game area!
A: You park next to your tent, the game and exhibitors area is between 1 and 5 minutes walk depending on where you setup!
line break
Q: Can I bring a caravan/camper van?
A: Yes, but you must use that as your living, sleeping and socializing area. You will not be permitted to pitch a tent or a marquee in addition to your caravan (excluding awning) as it will occupy too much space forcing others to camp further away than necessary. Please also note that this is a field being used and not a campsite, so there are no electrical hookups or anywhere to dump your chemical toilets!
line break
Q: Can I bring a dog?
A: I am afraid due to problems in the past we do not allow dogs on site.
line break
Q: I'm coming from far away, I can only get flights/ferry that arrive the day before.
A: No arrivals, for whatever reason, are allowed before Friday morning. If you need to arrive in Ringwood before the event is due to start we recommend the following close-by hotels for the night:
Travelodge, Premier Inn & The Village.
line break
Q: Can I arrange my own portable toilet?
A: No. For everyone's safety on site and so as not to cause excess traffic in the camping arena - particularly large lorries - no outside arrangements can be made.
line break
Q: Are there any showers?
A: I'm afraid there aren't any showers, but feel free to bring your own camping one so long as it doesn't need to be plumbed in.
line break
Q: Are there battery & phone charging facilities?
A: We do offer NiMH & NiCd gun battery charging facilities in the main field however there is always a long queue. If possible please make sure you have enough batteries/charge in them to last you.

We do not offer sockets for phone charging.
line break
Q: What is the deposit price?
A: The deposit price for players is £100. The remainder can then be paid at the event or before hand in £5 increments from your booking page.
line break
Q: Are HPA guns allowed at the NAE?
A: They are permitted, as long as they conform to our normal FPS limits and have the ability to be tournament locked. This applies to ALL HPA guns regardless of make or model and there will be no exclusions. If you do not have the ability to tournament lock the gun, then you will not be able to use it.
line break
Q: Do you have HPA charging facilities?
A: Yes, Zero One Airsoft are able to refill HPA bottles for a small charge from within the on-site shop.
line break
Q: Are there camo requirements for the different teams?
A: No, you are free to wear any type of camo/kit you want. We issue coloured bands to identify which team players are on (included in your player pack).
line break
Q: When do I get my player pack?
A: When you get to the event there will be a sign in area where player packs are handed out containing your player tags, team bands, game plan & map.
line break

line break
Q: Can I use a drone at your event?
A: Drones must comply with all UK laws and regulations, and carry public and property liability insurance. Drones are not permitted to be flown outside our camping arena or game site. The airspace around the estate house is restricted.

Q: Can I sell things in the camping fields?
A: Sales of ANY nature in the camping fields are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This includes: all catering, all new sales, all second hand sales, repairs for money, and any other activities that include an exchange of money. A fine equal to a stallholders pitch fee may be issued for any unauthorised activity, and/or you may be asked to leave the venue.

We have a designated second hand sales area in the main stalls arena, which is monitored by our staff. ALL second hand sales MUST be carried out in this area. This area is for personal/private sales of used guns and kit. It is not a forum for traders of used equipment, who must book as a vetted stallholder in the normal way.

Sales of any new items or equipment by non-approved stallholders are strictly prohibited at all times on on property, and we reserve the right to issue a fine equal to a stallholders pitch fee for any unauthorised activity, and/or you may be asked to leave the venue permanently.

Any authorised stallholder will have a physical presence in the stalls arena, where all sales will be conducted from, and have the necessary stallholder permit attached to their stall.
